Hi, I’m Samiha Matin, and I’m proud to say that helping others runs in my blood. Growing up in Denver, Colorado, I was surrounded by physicians in my family and community. Witnessing the amazing work they did to help others, I naturally wanted to follow in their footsteps and become a physician myself. But college had other plans for me.

While studying at the University of Denver, I discovered that biology wasn’t exactly my forte. However, I didn’t let that stop me from pursuing my passion to help others. Instead, I majored in International Studies and Sociology, and eventually pursued my Juris Doctor Degree at the University of California Los Angeles School of Law.

Despite my change of course, my love for the field of medicine never faded away. In fact, it only grew stronger, especially after hearing some heart-wrenching stories from my family members about their experiences as physicians. Stories of long hours, low pay, and feeling under-appreciated. It was tough to see the people I love so much struggling in their chosen careers, which is why I knew I had to do something about it.

When I found the opportunity to join Physician Agreements Health Law to become a lawyer for physicians and help physicians fight for their rights, it was a perfect match for me and my career aspirations.

I work diligently to ensure that my clients get the best contracts possible. I’m passionate about helping physicians get the compensation they deserve and ensuring that their contracts are fair and equitable. Seeing the positive impact I make in the lives of the physicians I work with is incredibly rewarding. It also feels great to know that I’m helping to change the structures of the health system so that physicians can thrive in their careers and, in turn, better take care of their patients.

Hiring a lawyer should be a standard practice when entering any legal agreement. The employer's attorneys have drafted an agreement that favors the employer, but we will balance the scales to make it fair for you.

Physician Prosperity Program

How It Works

After purchasing the physician contract review, you will receive an email asking you to transmit the agreement and any concerns you have to me. Many physicians do this by email, but I will be available by phone, too. In three business days from the time you purchase the Physician Prosperity Program® and transmit the draft physician employment agreement along with any concerns you have about the agreement and the information I will need to perform the MGMA analysis, you will receive a detailed physician contract review letter from me.

After you receive my physician contract review letter, you will have the opportunity to discuss it with me, to make sure all of your concerns were met, and to correct any factual inaccuracies, or to point out things that were verbally promised but didn’t make it into the physician employment agreement. These discussions, and revisions of the letter following these discussions, are included in the initial fixed fee.

Once you are completely comfortable with the physician contract review letter, you transmit the letter to your potential employer.
