Physician’s Contract Lawyer

Meet Dennis Hursh, a physician’s contract lawyer

Dennis HurshHursh & Hursh, P.C. is exclusively devoted to  physicians’ contractual issues. Led by Dennis Hursh, a veteran  physician’s contract lawyer with over 35 years of physician contract experience, we offer individually tailored legal services for physicians . Our experience and focus on physician’s contracts uniquely positions us to understand the issues physicians face in their employment agreements.

Dennis Hursh concentrates his practice on representing physicians.  His extensive experience as a physician’s contract lawyer led him to write a book on physician employment agreements, “The Final Hurdle – a Physician’s Guide to Negotiating a Fair Employment Agreement”. Dennis represents individual physicians in reviewing and negotiating their physician employment agreements.  He understands the tremendous time, financial, regulatory and litigious pressures physicians face, and strives to reduce these pressures for his clients, so they can do what they do best – practice medicine.

“The practice of law has been consuming me for as long as I can remember. I went into law because I  wanted to help people. I began to focus on representation of  physicians after countless nights by the bedside of Rachel, my oldest daughter, at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia. I got to know a lot of the Attendings and Fellows at CHOP on a personal basis. I was representing  physicians and other healthcare entities before Rachel was born, but her birth was a watershed for me. In 1989, I decided I would concentrate on being a physician’s contract lawyer. It’s not really an adequate payback for her life, but it is a start.”
